March is here, a time of rebirth and new beginnings. The third month of the year has arrived already and we are grateful for the gift of life. I mean, was it just me or did February last more than 29 days? Only yesterday we were ushering in the New Year, and now we can almost see the halfway point on the horizon.
In the northern hemisphere, this time of the year is regarded as springtime; a period of rebirth, and rejuvenation. It is that characterization we need to tap into this month.
You might have already faced some puzzles, and quagmires but see March as an opportunity to start from scratch. That problem that seems insurmountable in the bleakness of yesterday could just crumble in the light of a new day. A fresh start has a way of putting things in a different perspective, enabling you to engage in ways you don’t expect.
See each new day as the beginning of a new life.
In the words of Nina Simone: “It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me”. Every day you’re alive is another chance to try again. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, it’s another chance to battle some hydra-headed wrong, to climb the higher heights unclimbed yet, see the fuller air, the larger day.You can only learn to swim if you get in the water Click To Tweet
Everyday gives you the chance to create a better version of who you were yesterday. To assess yourself and affect how you see the world around you. Don’t be afraid to step away from your earlier mistakes; this is a time to make bold steps and declarations.
Take that much-feared risk, start that new venture, grab the bull by the horns and take charge. What is that thing you always wanted to try? Who is that enemy you’re tired of fighting with? What is that next challenge you’ve been so afraid to try? You can only learn to swim if you get in the water. This is the time to answer all those questions you’ve been troubled with.
Cheers to the new you as you reinvent yourself this month.
