In this Novel published 2017, Olugbenga tells a compelling story of Ade, a young boy who grew up in a family where abject poverty is the state they are in. As a young fellow, he tries to survive in a family where his father who maltreats his mother, is also a dreadful drunk who hardly pays attention to himself and his sister, Motolani.
Despite the hardship, Ade’s parents usually settle their differences and arguments on the bed, not minding whether or not the children are watching them while in the act.
Ade soon discerned how good it felt to feast his eyes on the nakedness of his parents each time they had sex. He also started deriving pleasure in watching his sister, Motolani take her bath while in front of him.
Sexual thoughts and pleasure soon ate deep into Ade's mind, he decided to go further, to discover more about his sister's developing body. He made his move while she pretended to be asleep, he pushed her wrapper aside and had his way. That act of indecency was the beginning of Ade’s misfortunes.
